Where is the wedding?
Spruce Mountain Ranch in Larkspur, Colorado.
What time does the wedding start and end?
Ceremony starts at 4:30pm and guests must arrive by 4:00pm. The reception will end at 11:00pm.
Is there a dress code?
Yes, formal attire is required. For women, tea-length, midi-length, and floor-length dresses are preferred. For men, suits or dress pants with a dress shirt are preferred. Please no jeans, shorts, short sleeves, sneakers, or ball caps. Fall colors are welcomed!
Where is best for me to stay?
We will have a room block at the Flying Horse Resort & Club, which will provide shuttle to and from the venue (20 min). Please visit the Travel page for more information. In addition, there are plenty of Airbnb's and hotels near the venue and in the neighboring towns, including Monument (10 min), Palmer Lake (5 min), Castle Rock (20 min), and Colorado Springs (30 min).
How will I get to and from the venue?
There are very few Ubers and Lyfts in the area. We recommend scheduling an Uber or Lyft ahead of time to transport you to and from the venue. There is also a parking lot at the venue should you choose to drive (you may not leave your car overnight). Additionally, if you stay at the Flying Horse Resort & Club, transportation will be provided to and from the venue. There are also many hotels near the resort, so you can always jump on the complimentary shuttle to the resort and then uber or lyft to a hotel nearby. When in doubt, renting a party bus is always a fun and reliable option!
Can I bring a plus one?
No, unless your invitation gives you that option. We will indicate who is invited on your formal invitation which you will receive this summer.
Are children allowed?
Our wedding will be 13+, with the exception of immediate family members with younger children. We will designate on your invitation the exact family members that are invited.
Are pets allowed?
No, pets are not allowed at this venue. If you need pet sitter recommendations in the Denver area, please let us know.
Will there be other events to attend during the wedding weekend?
We will be hosting a welcome party for all guests to attend the night before the wedding, Friday October 10, 2025 at 6:30pm. More details to come.
What is the weather going to be like?
The weather in Colorado in October is beautiful, ranging from a high of 70 degrees to a low of 40 degrees, mostly sunny but there is always a chance of rain in the mountains. We recommend bringing a light jacket!
There will be plenty of indoor spaces to accommodate everyone should there be cold weather.
What type of food will be served?
Our wedding will be catered by Mountain Crust, a catering company offering wood-fired pizzas, specialty salads, and a variety of other Italian dishes out of vintage trucks. There will be a variety of options for those with food allergies/restrictions.
Will there be an open bar?
Yes! There will be an open bar for the entire event, including specialty cocktails, an assortment of liquor and mixers, and beer and wine. There will also be non-alcoholic beverages available.
